Happy Halloween!

October is damn-near always the craziest month of the year around here (though perhaps touring & travels in June/July take the cake for 2011) and the circus troupe has 6 performances in different locations. The Vagabond Ballroom has (unofficially) become a goth club, and is now host to not only Solace, but Club Nocturn and several monthly bellydance showcases. What better time of year to let loose your inner vampire than around Halloween?

And also at the Vagabond Ballroom – come check out our first La Boutique Obscure production of the season, it’s sure to be a fantastic time. The show is Pajama-Party themed, so get into your snuggly best, grab some popcorn and expect a very giggly night. Psst! This is also our first show with our brand new cast member, Elijah Cherweznik (playing “Elijah Kåstner”) – formerly of Milwakee’s Dead Man’s Carnival. Exciting!! Of course as the weather goes, mermaid opportunities become more limited, so I’ve been enjoying the last hurrahs of our Bay Area “Indian Summer”, and hope to find warm places to keep swimming as it gets chilly. Some gorgeous Professional-Faeries I know came by a couple of nights ago and we worked on making tails for them, so we can all go swimming together. What a sight! A pod of mermaids! I can’t wait.

And of course, the month of October always ends with my giant, annual Halloween/Sahmain bash! As last year, the Vagabond Ballroom is hosting, and true to form (this is my 15th Halloween celebration running) you can expect many of your favorite holiday traditions:

*Costume Contest* *Apple Bobbing* *Spoooky Tunes For Dancing* *Circus Performances* *Classic Horror Film Projections All Night* *Candy* *A Samhain Ritual to Close the Night* 18+ only!
